On July 28, 2025, the Korea Software HRD Center celebrated the opening of the 13th Generation Advanced Course, welcoming 50 students who successfully completed the basic ICT training. This marks the beginning of their next four-month journey in the KB ICT Advanced Course, a key component of the five-year KB Cambodia IT Academy Project (2023-2027) sponsored by KB Kookmin Bank.
Now in its third year, the project aims to broaden access to advanced-level ICT training for Cambodian youth by reducing financial and structural barriers, while also supporting their long-term career development. The Advanced Course is developed to align with current industry trends, focusing on market-relevant subjects that prepare students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. As Cambodia's digital sector grows—particularly in areas like fintech, mobile applications, and enterprise software—the need for capable digital professionals is more urgent than ever.

Classes are led by instructors who are former students of the program themselves, bringing strong familiarity with the course content and a relatable perspective for current learners, along with emerging expertise in their respective fields.
The KB ICT Advanced Course emphasizes holistic development. In addition to core technical subjects, students engage in soft skills workshops, team projects, and extra research sessions. A performance-based scholarship system encourages students to maintain high standards in attendance, participation, and academic progress.
The opening ceremony included speeches from the HRD Center’s leadership, instructor introductions, and a Q&A session with the new cohort. The launch also highlighted the continued collaboration between KB Kookmin Bank, WebCash, and Good Neighbors Cambodia as the implementing partner.
