PHNOM PENH, May 28, 2025 — Khmer Enterprise and Seedstars launched the "Cambodia Startup Accelerator" program, opening applications for 15 high-potential startups looking to overcome scaling challenges in one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The initiative comes as Cambodia's startup landscape experiences remarkable growth in recent times. Building on this momentum, Khmer Enterprise and Seedstars together have launched another program aimed at startups looking for growth opportunities.
"Our ecosystem is undergoing significant development, and this partnership represents a timely intervention to help promising startups reach their full potential," said H.E.Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate of Royal Government in charge as CEO of Khmer Enterprise. “The program provides targeted support to startups in the growth stage to help them expand their businesses.’’
Recent ecosystem assessments indicate that while early-stage funding is available, many Cambodian startups face specific growth challenges when attempting to scale beyond initial market traction. The program addresses these precise pain points with a comprehensive support framework.

It’s this spirit of creativity grounded in everyday problem-solving that’s bringing meaningful change and new possibilities to the country," said Tom Sebastian, Asia Regional Director of Seedstars. ‘’ We are seeing founders here develop solutions that could easily scale across Southeast Asia, but they often lack the specific frameworks needed to make that leap. This program is designed to bridge that gap.’’
Selected startups will receive:
- Customized growth diagnostics to identify specific scaling obstacles
- Intensive bootcamp focused on practical implementation strategies
- One-on-one mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs
- Connections to Seedstars' network of regional and global investors
- Exposure through a culminating Demo Day
The program targets revenue-generating startups with validated business models, particularly those in fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS sectors that have demonstrated market traction but face obstacles to regional expansion.
The program builds on Cambodia's growing digital infrastructure, where innovations in fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS drive substantial economic activity. According to the World Bank, Cambodia's economy grew by 5.3% in 2024, with the digital sector playing an increasingly vital role.
